Our seafood tools set is exactly what you need when sitting down at your next boil. It’s equally useful anytime enjoying shellfish specifically. The crab leg cracker is ideal and works great in claws or big part of legs For hard shells, get that delicious meat effortlessly without slips.

If you are eating Dungeness or snow crab legs, tools like scissors and a wooden mallet may be all you need to crack through the shells. King crabs have a harder outer shell. You may need a crab cracker and gloves or a dish towel to break through the spiny shell. A lobster pick or lobster fork is a long, narrow food utensil used to extract meat. This includes joints, legs, claws, and other small parts of a lobster. Lobster picks are usually made of stainless steel and weigh as much as an average teaspoon.

Crab and lobster can be a little difficult to serve and eat without the right tools to handle them. This cracker will make short work of everything from king crab legs to lobster claws. The seafood cracker has a cast zinc body with teeth that are designed to crack both large & small legs/claws of both lobsters & crabs. Comfort grip handles reduce pressure when squeezing. The scissors are effective for cutting through hard, sharp shells. The crab leg splitter is very effective at getting inside a crab leg and allowing you to separate the meat from the shell. A stainless steel fork is included should you need to pick meat out of hard to reach places. Lastly, the butter bowl is included for dipping that delicious meat into melted butter.

Also pictured is our crab shell bucket which provides a convenient place to discard shells and a mallet used to crack shells, claws, etc. Neither is in the kit, but you can search our site and add both to your order. Either can be found by search using “mallet” or search using “crab bucket”.

Crab mallets are used to crack open crab or lobster shells. Our crab mallets have long handles with small solid heads. Good mallets are designed to be lightweight because they need to crack open the shell without smashing it into little bits. No one wants to go picking through their crab meat for tiny pieces of shell!

We have those in our store as well. Search on “mallet” and you will see our offering. We have included a glass bowl for holding melted butter if you’re into that. Also pictured is our crab bucket which provides a place to discard shells. This is not in the kit but you can search our site using “crab bucket” to find it.
