Description
Using this deluxe nonstick burger basket, cook over direct heat for 2 to 4 minutes per side, depending on the thickness of your burger. (Grill with the lid on for a smoky flavor.) After removing the burgers from the grill, allow them to rest 3 to 4 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute within the meat for the juiciest burger you’ve ever tasted. Cook turkey burgers on each side 4-6 minutes per side but it depends on thickness of the patty.
You can use the deluxe nonstick burger basket for beef or turkey. Being non-stick makes cleanup easy. For longevity, this basket should be hand washed because of its wooden handles.

Cook burgers on Medium-High heat (approximately 375 degrees) to High (400 degrees). Most gas grills have a built-in thermometer to monitor the heat, but you can buy a grill thermometer for charcoal grills too. Generously salt and pepper both sides of the burger patties. Place the burgers on the grill grates and cook, uncovered, for 3 to 5 minutes a side, depending on the desired level of doneness. When making cheeseburgers, take patties out the basket, place them on the grill, and add cheese.
For a medium-rare burger, cook for 2 minutes and thirty seconds per side for 5 minutes total. Medium burgers, cook for 3 to 3 1/2 minutes per side for 6 to 7 minutes total. Well-done burger, cook for 4 to 4 1/2 minutes per side for 8 to 9 minutes total. Cook chicken and turkey burgers thoroughly, so if you overcook the first burger, do not panic. If you want to ensure all burgers are well done, mix beef and turkey in the basket. Leave it on the grill just a little bit longer for that char grilled flavor.
