Grilling has been a part of Pacific Islander tradition since the beginning of time and Aloha Baby BBQ Sauce is perfect. We crafted this Peach, Pineapple, & Mango fruit in that spirit and it contains a gentle blend of heat and tropical fruit flavors. We tested this sauce on ribs and a roasted pork loin and were pleasantly surprised.
If you like Mangos like I do, then you’ll LOVE this Peach, Pineapple, and Mango BBQ sauce. This isn’t a traditional barbecue sauce since it does not have tomatoes or the other typical base BBQ sauce items. What you will find is this sauce is delicious especially because of the real fruit we used.
This sauce also goes well with poultry like Buffalo Wings or as a standalone dip. Recommendations are to marinate the meat and continue to baste while cooking. We also wrapped the meat in foil, poured over this sauce, and cooked the meat to completion. This sauce is delicious and contains real fresh fruit and fresh vegetables and has the added benefit of being made with NO additives or preservatives !!!!!
Our two favorite uses for Aloha Baby BBQ sauce is smoking pork shoulder for pulled pork sandwiches and ribs. Wrapping the meat or not, the fruit in this sauce adds pizzazz to the meat you can taste. Pork is traditionally served at Luau’s and that was the impetus for this sauce. If you’re smoking a whole pig, this sauce is the only choice. Pork is the best use for this sauce but it has also been used on seafood or poultry tacos. Aloha Baby is extremely versatile and we would love to hear back regarding how you use it.
