Looking for Freshwater or Saltwater casting lures? We have them all !!!!. Iron, Tinsel Bombs, Spinners, Bass Plugs, you name it. We try to bring you the very best Casting Lures / Iron so that you know where to look for tackle that’s more than up for the job.

Spoons, jigs, and top water poppers are some of the most popular fishing lures to use. These lures attract fish visually since they do not have any natural smell like frozen bait. Use them when water clarity is high and surf conditions are moderate so fish can see them better.

The heavier a lure is the more distance you’re going to be able to get on it. That’s why you can throw the backing off your reel with an 8-foot crankbait rod and 3/4 ounce deep-diving crankbait, but you struggle to get a small crankbait out there very far on lighter line and a spinning rod.

Choosing:

If you want to stand out, go for lures in bright greens and yellows, which will really stand out. Red Water. In red water, red, orange, and yellow lures might actually get brighter or lighter in shade while blues and greens turn dark. So, to catch a fish’s attention, opt for red, orange, or yellow. Black is considered a good color at night because it showcases the silhouette of the bait better, but this can be achieved with any solid-colored bait. I’ve done well on all chartreuse, all pink and bone at night.

Top water of all kinds are great choices for nighttime fishing. Spooks, poppers, frogs, prop baits and anything that makes a disturbance on the surface can work well. However, buzz baits take the top prize for night fishing.

Casting Lures / Iron come in all shapes and sizes so your choices will always reflect your target species.
