(You&#8217;ll also end up with a dry, tasteless banger: fat is an essential part of the sausage&#8217;s charm.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Depending on who you ask, adding brown sugar adds a caramelized flavor to your sausage.
