Carolina mustard BBQ sauce combines mustard, vinegar, sweetener, and spices. It originated in South Carolina (hence the name), and it is a golden sauce perfect for all your grilled and smoked meats. Cookin Wit&#8217; Gus added a twist to our slice of heaven sauce and that twist is real bacon. Everyone knows bacon makes everything better and is what sends this sauce to the next level.<\/p>\n<p>Many people have never experienced mustard based sauces. To make Slice of Heaven, Gus combined herbs and spices carefully for a sauce that complements any meat you use this with. Next addition is what, makes this sauce scream, real bacon. There is a very subtle flavor to this sauce all have found extremely pleasing to the palette. This is more of a traditional mustard sauce and it took a little effort to get the taste right. Gus has experimented with different methods and feels we got it right. Of course, let us know if you feel the same way. The sauce is aged and chilled allowing the seasonings to properly blend so that you get that taste you can appreciate !!!<\/p>\n<p>We tested this sauce by slathering the meat during cooking and by applying it when the meat was done.
